The challenge: The original kitchen was tired and outdated with broken tiles. I stripped the room right back to the beams to start fresh. My goal was to rebuild it not just as a cooking space but as a warm heart of the home, balancing modern functionality with character.

The solution: I chose terrazzo tiles for the floor to create the illusion of a seamless surface and paired them with rich walnut fronts for timeless elegance. The bold veined marble countertop acts as the centerpiece, contrasted by white zellige tiles for texture. To elevate the mood I focused on a soft restaurant style lighting concept that makes the space feel inviting and refined.
