About me
I’m Marina Ramain, a French interior designer based in Berlin.
Born and raised in France, I have always been drawn to aesthetics. The way colours interact, how textures influence mood, and how a space can quietly tell a story. My mother still loves to share the memory of me at four, confidently mixing patterns in clothing shops, already trusting my instinct for what felt right.
Before founding Atelier Ramain, my interior design studio in Berlin, I spent more than ten years in international marketing, working with companies from Germany, the US, India and Norway. I was especially drawn to the creative side: designing exhibition stands, building brand identities and shaping visual experiences that resonated emotionally.
Alongside that career, interiors were a personal passion. I have always been on the lookout for vintage finds at flea markets, inspired by natural materials, beautiful craftsmanship and the way a space can shift how we feel. The renovation of my own Berlin Altbau apartment made it clear that it was time to turn that passion into my profession.
After completing my interior design training in 2024, I launched Atelier Ramain in early 2025. Today I offer interior design services in Berlin that help clients create spaces that reflect who they are. I use meaningful objects, natural textures and a mix of old and new to design homes that feel lived in and deeply personal.
I believe good design starts with listening. I take the time to understand your story and translate it into a space that feels like home. In English, French or German, I would love to hear your story!
