About me
I’m Marina Ramain, a Berlin-based interior designer with a French twist. Born and raised in France, I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics—the way colors interact, how textures influence mood, and how spaces can tell a story. My mother still tells the story of me at four, confidently mixing patterns in clothing shops, already trusting my instinct for what worked.
Before founding Atelier Ramain, I spent over ten years in international marketing, working with companies from Germany, the US, India, and Norway. What I loved most was the creative, visual side—designing exhibition booths, shaping brand identities, and crafting experiences that resonated emotionally.
Alongside that career, interiors were my personal passion. I’ve always been on the lookout for vintage treasures at flea markets, drawn to beautiful materials and well-crafted objects, and fascinated by how a space can instantly change the way you feel. During the renovation of my own Berlin Altbau apartment, I realized I wanted to bring that passion into my professional life.
In 2024, I completed formal training in interior design and launched Atelier Ramain. Today, I help clients create spaces that reflect who they are—blending natural materials, meaningful objects, and a mix of old and new to craft homes that feel lived-in and unmistakably personal.
I believe great design starts with empathy. I take time to listen, understand, and translate your story into a space that feels like home. In English, French, or German—I’d love to hear your story and help you bring it to life.
